About Evidtrace

Evidtrace verifies AI business claims — not vendors. Our engine breaks AI-related assertions into individual testable claims and scores each one against evidence drawn from multiple independent sources. No opinion. No editorial slant. Just structured, auditable verification — published with full transparency so you can see exactly how every verdict was reached.

What we do

We verify AI business claims, not vendors.

Evidtrace does not rate AI companies or grade vendors. We verify the claims, figures, and assertions made about AI in business — from vendor ROI promises to implementation outcomes, from workforce impact projections to governance readiness statistics. Our engine gathers evidence from multiple independent sources, cross-references every claim, and publishes a transparent verdict with full audit trail. We are not asking "is this vendor good?" — we are asking "what does the evidence actually show?"

Evidence Confidence Score

How every score is calculated.

Every story receives an Evidence Confidence Score (ECS) from 0 to 100, calculated using a Bayesian probability framework with hard gates, prior probabilities, and continuous calibration.

Our approach

Link to original reports, research, and filings. Copy nothing.

Every story on Evidtrace AI News & Insight links back to its original reporting sources — analyst reports, company filings, peer-reviewed research, and regulatory documents. We never copy article text, reproduce data visualisations, or repeat headlines word-for-word. Our role is verification analysis — original assessment of the evidence behind AI business claims, not republication of it. Original reporting is sourced and linked, never copied.

Transparency

Show your working. Always.

Every verdict comes with a full audit report: the individual claims extracted, the sources checked, the evidence found, and the reasoning applied. If you disagree with a verdict, the evidence trail shows exactly why we reached it. Nothing is hidden behind an algorithm.

Jon Swaby

A career built around information at scale — from Reed Elsevier (now RELX) in business information, through venture-backed technology, to Allianz Trade, one of the world's largest credit insurers, including a global marketing role based in Paris, with further experience in Hamburg and London. Global finalist in the Singularity University wellbeing technology challenge, with finals held in Silicon Valley.

Evidtrace exists because the gap between what happened and what gets reported is growing — and the tools to close it have never been more powerful. Every verdict shows its working. Nothing is hidden.
